Sarah's Collage

For this project we had to take pictures standing in one spot and then without moving take 180 view of the scene we were looking at. I liked the idea of this project but it was very frustrating when the pictures didn't line up very well. Mine turned out pretty good some of the things don't line up but for the most part i think the trees and the main things lined up well.

Program Cover Improvement

We're going to work on a new design for our school program cover. Here is what the school is currently using. I would recommend using Adobe Illustrator so you can rotate and change the fonts to show impact and interest. The Cyclone logos can be found in the AEA clip art, create your own or from Miss J. (Just ask her to drop box you a folder of examples)

Sarah Folkmann's Collage

This is a 180 degree view of my house. This project was pretty frustrating because even if you didn't think that you moved your camera they didn't always line up. I think it would have been better if I had chosen another scene.

Josie's Collage

This is my collage. It didn't work out how I wanted it to, but I guess it's alright.

Ashlin's 180 collage

For this project I took pictures of a sunset outside the view of my window. I thought this project was really frustrating because if the pictures didn't work together there was no way to take more. I originally wanted to use my Christmas but due to the minimum 16 picture limit I wasn't able to.

Jena's Multi-View Collage

This was a pretty interesting project. I liked putting all the pictures together to create one image, but then again at times it was frustrating. Overall, I liked this project.

Duell's Montage

For my picture I stood at the podium in the band room and took pictures from one side of the room to the door.

Missy's Montage

I took this picture in my backyard. The house at the top of the hill is actually my grandparent's house. I think it would have been cool to make a montage with all of the Christmas lights up, but it was too difficult to get enough pictures when it was dark. I like how this one turned out :)

For this project I wasn't looking forward to...but after I took a bunch of pictures it was just like putting a puzzle together.

Multi-view Image Restructure

Over the holidays I'm hoping students are taking multiple views from one location of the same scene. Start at one side and take at least 5 layers vertically as you move across the scene horizontally. When we return to school Jan 3rd we'll start compiling the photos together into one scene. The views will be a little distorted but the outcome can be spectacular if the subject matter has special meaning to you.
Use photoshop to place the pictures together. You might have to size down your photos so they are easier to work with when sliding them into a new document. Make that document large enough to hold all the photos depending on how many layers across you have.

Evaluation: The amount of photos to complete your view. (At least 16)
How closely they fit together.
The steps and processes you use using photoshop in class.
The impact of the selected scene.
